Donald Trump has had a spectacular week, in which he has given several truly amazing speeches where he has reached out to African-American voters encouraging them to vote for him and leave the Democrat Party.
Trump has pointed out that under Democratic leadership, African-Americans are worse off now than they were eight years ago and he has urged them to try something new (like voting for Trump), because they don’t have much left to lose.
Trump’s outreach has stunned many political pundits, and several have said that if Trump sticks with this message he has an actual chance of winning over a large number of black voters who aren’t too thrilled with Hillary Clinton.
Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity,” conservative talk show host James Harris stressed that if Trump continues with this message, and continues to point out how terrible conditions are for African-Americans right now, he could actually take that black vote away from Clinton.
“If he sticks to that message, if he is disciplined and continues to hammer that message home … he will find success,” said Harris. “If you talk about whether there’s been success in these Democrat-owned cities … the answer is a resounding ‘no.’”
Harris is absolutely right. More often than not, areas that have extreme poverty (poverty that affects African-Americans more than anyone), you will see that Democrats have been in power for decades.
“They keep doing the same thing over and over and over again and expect a different result. That is the definition of insanity. So you would think that at this point in time, America’s African (Americans) would be willing to ditch Democratic policies and embrace economic opportunity,” Harris said.

Trump has labeled Clinton as the “status quo” candidate, and that is exactly what she is.
If she is elected, African-Americans will continue to live in poverty, and absolutely nothing will change.
