Since winning the election, President Donald Trump continued to show the mainstream media that they do not and will not control him.
From calling them out for reporting fake news to making them wait their turn during news conferences, Trump has had no problem letting the liberal media know he doesn’t need them in the capacity that they think he does.
Since his first news conferences, Trump has taken a different approach and called for questions from non-traditional media outlets. It was no different Wednesday at the joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
It would seem like all that waiting and being overlooked has taken its toll on liberal news outlets. After the conference, CNN’s Jim Acosta had a near meltdown, explaining how the mainstream media are being stiffed. Obviously, his feelings were hurt.
Acosta, who attended the news conference but was not called upon, explained that the two questions that were taken came from the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he described as a “very conservative broadcasting network” and TownHall.com, which he said is a “very conservative website.”
“And so in the last three news conferences, all of the questions to the American news media have been handled by conservative press. And, I think, there’s no other way to describe it, but the fix is in,” he said.
Well, there’s really no other way to describe Acosta’s statement but “whining.”
Acosta, whom the president accused of being fake news in January, also claimed the president didn’t want to answer critical questions.

Really. It’s oddly satisfying to watch a reporter from CNN complain about how the president overlooking him.
In fact, it’s fun to see how all of the mainstream new outlets are whining about the president’s behavior.
Next question just went to Town Hall – the conservative website. Reminder, first question went to the Christian Broadcasting Network.

They need to get over it. This kind of treatment is what conservative media outlets have had to deal with for the last eight years. The same mainstream reporters complaining about Trump ignoring them never said a word about former President Barack Obama choosing question from media outlets that were friendly to him, or his eight-year war with Fox News.
