Millions of Americans know that Hillary Clinton is a criminal who should be in prison. Therefore, news of one of her top allies being indicted on serious federal charges came as no surprise proving the old adage – birds of a feather flock together.
The Washington Examiner reported that disgraced Congresswoman Corrine Brown is facing 357 years in prison and $4.8 million in fines for stealing scholarship money from school children. She is accused of funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a non-profit charity, One Door for Education, into her own pocket.
Brown was once a top Democrat who socialized with Nancy Pelosi, flew on Air Force One with Barack Obama, and cast her superdelegate vote for Clinton. Her arrest has sent shockwaves through the already-struggling Democratic political community.
With her former chief-of-staff set to testify against her, it’s no longer a question of whether or not she’s guilty. Instead, the only question left is how much time Brown will be doing.
Brown was accused by the Federal Election Commission of violating numerous campaign finance laws immediately after she won her first election to Congress back in 1992. She reportedly accepted donations from foreign citizens and failed to report the use of a corporate plane, among other crimes.
Her crimes continued for the next 25 years as Democrats turned a blind eye and allowed her to rise through the party.
