The mainstream media has spent the last few months relentlessly vilifying President Trump as a dangerous, out of control tyrant. The ongoing attacks have no merit and yet, can embolden angry liberals to make threats towards our president.
Pix 11 reported that a deranged liberal launched an attack on Trump Tower on Sunday night when he threw eggs at the building at around 10:40pm. The man was promptly arrested by the NYPD, and he was reportedly unaware that the president was not in New York City at the time.
This comes days after an intruder jumped the fence at the White House and began running for the president’s residence. Though he was apprehended by the Secret Service before he could reach the home, a former agent who served on Barack Obama’s detail spoke out to say that he believes Trump’s life is very much at risk.
“The president, in my humble opinion, is just not safe at the White House anymore because they’re not serious about the security plan,” former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said, according to The Blaze. “They’re serious about how the White House looks and uniform division, but they’re just not serious about the security plan at the White House anymore.”
Though the Secret Service said “nothing of concern to security operations was found” after the intruder jumped the White House fence on Friday, Bongino disagreed.
“So first, let’s scrap this nonsense that this is how the system was supposed to work, that the system was supposed to allow a man with a backpack up to the South Portico a hundred yards — maybe just a tad bit more from the president of the United States. That’s an absurd statement,” Bongino explained.
“To put out a statement like that is outrageous,” he added. “And I’ll tell ya — I love the Secret Service, I love the men and women there, the rank-and-file agents are the best people I’ve ever met — but the management is an absolute disaster.”
