Ivanka Trump emerged from her Washington D.C. home on Sunday night looking as beautiful as ever to head to the Ford’s Theatre Gala with her husband, Jared Kushner.
Daily Mail reported that Ivanka stepped out of her house wearing a $5,500 J Mendel deep red tea-length gown. Kushner beamed as he held her hand, clearly proud to have a wife as gorgeous and elegant as Ivanka.
Meanwhile, Melania left the White House looking chic in a $2,595 floor length blush silk charmeuse dress by Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier with matching Manolo duchess pumps.
While speaking at the gala, President Donald Trump responded to Saturday’s terrorist attack in London by saying that he would do whatever is necessary to protect the U.S. from the “vile enemy” that has waged war on innocents.
“This bloodshed must end, this bloodshed will end,” Trump said. “America sends our thoughts and prayers and our deepest sympathies to the victims of this evil slaughter and we renew our resolve, stronger than ever before, to protect the United States and its allies from a vile enemy that has waged war on innocent life, and it’s gone on too long.”
“This bloodshed must end, this bloodshed will end,” Trump added. “As president, I will do what is necessary to prevent this threat from spreading to our shores and work every single day to protect the safety and security of our country, our communities and our people.”
